The Jamic Boatlifter works using the principles of angles and transfer of weight The Jamic Boatlifter is manufactured from 4mm steel and is hot dipped galvanized inside and out for longevity of the product, stainless steel pins are used through out - to minimize corrosion through using the product/s near sea water The Jamic Boatlifter comprises of five major parts; Reese Hitch, Mast with Flat Bar, Mast with Boss, Gooseneck and two Gunwale T pieces, all of these pieces are stored in a black poly bag The unit weighs 20 kilograms in total The Jamic Boatlifter utilizes your Reese Hitch at the rear of your vehicle and has an adjustable lifting arm that lengthens or shortens to the height of your vehicle [the height is measured from the Reese Hitch to the top of your roof rack] The Jamic Boatlifter lifts dinghies up 4 metres [14 foot] or a maximum weight of 120 kilograms onto your existing roof rack or bar system You can have a load up inside of your roof rack and the Boatlifter will place the dinghy over the load – so the Boatlifter does not inhibit the use of the roof rack The Jamic Boatlifter is a one person operation, the Boatlifter does the hard work for you, the aide of a winch is standard The Jamic Boatlifter can be purchased as a package with a 2000lb electric winch mounted on an aluminium winch post [which is removable from the vehicle] which clips on and clips off of the bull bar on your vehicle. The rope used is 4mm nylon braid and has a breaking load of 800 kilograms The Jamic Boatlifter can be upgraded to a licensed trailer at a later date or purchased as a two in one product giving you the use of two products when you get where you are going The Jamic Boatlifter is unique in its design and is the only two in one system available for purchase on the market The Boatlifter is fully removable from the rear of your vehicle – when the dinghy is loaded it is just a matter of removing two pins one in the wing of the dinghy [the wing can stay inside of the dinghy during transit] slide the Gooseneck and the adjustable arm out of the wing and undo the pin in the Reese Hitch; remove the Reese Hitch attachment, this has now freed up the rear of the vehicle to attach your caravan The Jamic Boatlifter is fully removable from the dinghy when you have unloaded the dinghy ready to go fishing, simply remove the pins from the wing slide the gunwale T pieces out of the gunwale channel and remove from the dinghy, this frees up the transom to house the outboard motor and accessories |
